The clients brief was for the house to portray a contemporary cubistic look with a close relationship between the house and the street. Portion of the house would be converted to a home office with the need to have a defined separation of each entrance area.
Facade setbacks provide the playful interaction to the street and provide interest and privacy between the public office environment and that of the private house. Maintenance free textured plaster finishes off set the change in the facade.
