The design concept was to juxtapose the cubistic look and feel of the house with that of the natural landscape and river below. Floating planes with cantilevered balcony and roof slabs provided the horizontality of nature. Corner windows together with large wall openings further creating the visual connection to nature from the main house.
Each bedroom together with living or entertainment rooms provides a direct link to the exterior and the garden through balconies or undercover patio areas. The position and extent of under cover patio areas were calculated based on the movement of the sun over the course of the day allowing maximum shade with optimal levels of natural light to flood the interior of the house.
