As this building is located in an urban environment all vehicles had to be accommodated on site, this resulted that the two lower floors were dedicated for parking. Visitor parking is provided for along the street. The following 3 floors consisted of 5 apartments per floor averaging 120m2 per apartment. The two top floors allowed for the pent house units with 4 apartments per floor each averaging 150m2. The 24th apartment, a 1 bedroom bachelor pad is located on the roof where the entertainment area is situated together with a large prayer room. The façade of the building had to evoke an up market residential building with quality apartment located within.
Interior finishes of the highest quality was used and 3 distinctive varying design finishes could be chosen by the prospective buyers. ‘Golden Sands’ internal pallet option catered for a more conservative client with warmer and elegant lines. ‘Silk Dune’ internal pallet option was a little bolder and less conservative with brighter colours and finishes. ‘Crystal Moon’ internal pallet option was very contemporary with grey hues utilized together with darker finishes.
